Letter of Notificaiton:

Dear Mrs. Arvidson:
Congratulations!  The Character Education Partnership (CEP) is pleased to inform you that CEP's Blue Ribbon Panel has selected Col. John Robinson School as a 2009 National Schools of Character (NSOC) award winner. Although we had more outstanding applicants than ever, your initiative stood out as a truly exemplary model for others to follow.

Final Report:

The expansive grounds of Colonel John Robinson Elementary School are impressive as one enters the campus of this K-2 facility, located southwest of Boston in the affluent suburban community of Westford, Massachusetts.  Surrounding the school are ball fields of several types, a large playground with a sign proclaiming it as a "Peaceable Playground" and an open play field, along with tennis courts and a wooded area serving as an appealing backdrop.
