Welcome

Welcome to the Robinson School Nurse’s Clinic

Spring has sprung! And with it comes:

1) Allergies- If your child has seasonal allergies, please provide eye drops, inhalers, or any medications your child needs to get him comfortably through the day.
2) Sunburn- Please remember to apply sunscreen daily.
3) Injuries- Please help prevent playground injuries by sending your child to school in sneakers every day.
4) Insects- Use insect repellant to help prevent illnesses spread by mosquitoes and ticks. Check your child nightly for head lice and ticks. If necessary, contact your health care provider for advice and treatment.

Please feel free to call me with any questions or health concerns you may have about your children. I hope you find the information on this site helpful.

“School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well being, academic success and life long achievement of students. To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development, promote health and safety, intervene with actual and potential health problems, provide case management services and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy and learning.”  -National Association of School Nurses
